PostSubject: How To Enable Check Boxes In Windows7 To Select Multiple Files ?   Mon Oct 29, 2012 1:04 pm

Hi all users, selecting multiple files using Ctrl or Shift is very convenient way to do, but do you know that there is an even more easy way to select multiple files without holding Crtl or shift. Today we're here in this to tell you how to use windows7 check box feature to select multiple files only by clicking on your mouse ( without holding any key).

I think this feature is new(unknown) to most of the windows7 user, that is why I thought to share with you. So lest see how to do it.

Follow The Steps below to make It Work :

1. First of all nevigate to your Start Menu and type 'Folder Options' (without quote) in the search bar and press enter,

OR

Go to Start Menu > Control Panel > Folder Options.

OR

Open My Computer (or any folder you want) and navigate to Organize>Folder and search options.

2. Now click View button and scroll down to see “Use check boxes to select items”, just enable it by marking the check box.

That's it you are done, from now you can select multiple files without holding Ctrl or Shift keys.
